Lepilemur septentrionalis is a small sportive lemur with a head-body length of 18–19 cm, a tail length of 25 cm, a total length of 43–44 cm, and a body weight of 600–750 g (Louis et al., 2006b). The overall color is a light grayish-brown. The underside is gray. There is often a dark median stripe extending from the crown to the midline of the dorsum. There are sometimes brownish tinges around the shoulders. The tail is pale brown, darkening towards the tip. The ears are less prominent than those of other Lepilemur species. This species might be confused in the field with Cheirogaleus if only a fleeting glimpse of the animal is obtained. \([\dots]\) https://lemursofmadagascar.com
